THE GOD WHO SEES

Life is a journey filled with a series of ups and downs, and sometimes it’s hard not to get bogged down by our current circumstances.

Our perspective is often limited, colored by our experiences, fears, and hopes.

We see things through the lens of our immediate reality, but there's another perspective – GOD'S!

From where I stand, my life can often feel overwhelming.

I juggle numerous responsibilities: work, family, friends, and personal goals.

There are days when it feels like I'm barely keeping my head above water.

The weight of financial worries, health concerns, and relationship strains can seem insurmountable.

Each challenge looms large, casting a shadow over my ability to see beyond the immediate problem.

I see my failures and shortcomings starkly.

Every mistake is magnified, every misstep a marker of inadequacy. The future is a vast, uncertain expanse filled with potential pitfalls.

I find myself questioning if I'm on the right path or if I have what it takes to overcome the hurdles ahead.

In these moments, I feel small and powerless.

The world is a chaotic place, and it’s easy to feel lost and insignificant.

My prayers often reflect a cry for help, a plea for clarity and strength to endure another day.

But how does God see my situation?

Through a lens of infinite love, grace, and wisdom, God’s perspective is vastly different from mine.

1. God Sees the Bigger Picture:

Where I see a single tree, God sees the entire forest. He understands how every experience, no matter how challenging, fits into the larger tapestry of my life. He knows that each trial is a stepping stone toward growth and resilience. What I perceive as obstacles, God sees as opportunities for me to learn and become stronger.

2. God Sees My Potential:

In moments of self-doubt, I focus on my limitations, but God sees my potential. He knows the gifts and talents He has placed within me and sees the future version of myself – more refined and capable through life's challenges. He believes in my ability to rise above difficulties because He knows what I am capable of achieving with His guidance.

3. God Sees My Worth:

While I often measure my worth by my successes and failures, God’s love for me is unconditional. He sees my intrinsic value, not based on what I do but on who I am – His beloved creation. In His eyes, I am enough, cherished, and precious, regardless of my circumstances.

4. God Sees the End from the Beginning:

My view of the future is limited, but God is omniscient. He knows the end from the beginning and has a perfect plan for my life. Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." God’s plans are for my ultimate good, even when I cannot see it in the moment.

5. God Sees the Support System:

I might feel isolated in my struggles, but God knows the support He has placed around me. He sees the friends, family, and community that are there to uplift and encourage me. He also knows the divine appointments and connections that will come into my life at just the right time to provide help and support.

Understanding the difference between my perspective and God's can be profoundly comforting.

It doesn’t erase the challenges, but it shifts my focus.

When I remind myself to see through God’s eyes, I find a renewed sense of hope and peace.

I try to practice seeing my life through this divine lens by:

Praying for Perspective: Asking God to help me see situations as He sees them.

Trusting His Plan: Believing that He has a good plan for my life, even when I can't see it.

Embracing My Worth: Reminding myself that my worth is not tied to my achievements but to God’s love for me.

Seeking Community: Leaning on the support system God has provided.

In the end, my situation may not change immediately, but my perception of it can.

And sometimes, that shift in perspective makes all the difference.

So, as I navigate the twists and turns of life, I strive to see beyond my limited view, trusting that God’s vision is infinitely broader and more beautiful than I can imagine.

His perspective is one of hope, love, and purpose – and that is enough to carry me through.
